A few years ago a new company called Genius Idea Studio, LLC was born.  Genius Idea Studio was created initially by Mike Myers to support the development of embedded systems.  Mike, also a developer for multiple other technologies and a former ISP owner started also developing high end web sites, web sites that are typically very database driven and use web 2.0 technologies like AJAX.

After a few web sites were designed there was the need to market these web sites, that is when the internet marketing lights started coming on.  After much reasearch and lots of failure a few techniques stood out.  During this time we were introduced to affiliate marketing and then, GIS Marketing was born.  Created at first as just a new cost center to help seperate the 2 different business models.  Over time, software tools were created, new methods were created and discovered.  Affiliate marketing was a large source of income.  As time went by and the internet changed, old methods that used to work no longer worked (for example, keyword stuffing) and sometimes would actually do more damamge and get you banned.

We have seen it all and been there watching and learning and sitting quietly making money this whole time.  And we still do.  We still use affiliate marketing of other people's products and our own products for income.  We will probably always continue to do so.  But this is a good thing for you.  We have experience, we see the changes in google and the other search engines quickly coming and know how to adapt to the changes.  We use this same knowledge to help promote your business so it is as effective as it can be.
